When you come to the farm we will take you round and show you the alpacas.  You will get a chance to see them up close, feed them and touch them.  They are really soft and gentle.  We have noticed that Cinnamon really likes visitors, and is anxious to show how friendly she is.  Right now we have several  babies (crias).  The moms are expecting new crias in the spring, starting around March. 

Our Italian Maremma dogs, Shadow and Xena (the warrior princess) really like visitors too.  Shadow will take all the loves that she can get, and will make sure that you are safe at all times.  However, if an Eagle flies over, or if she senses something in the forest, she will leave you very quickly and get right to work telling the intruder to stay away.  Xena is just 4 months old now and will be bred when she is old enough.  If she does something wrong or is too playful around the alpacas, Shadow will discipline Xena by holding her mouth shut and growling at her.  Xena will drop down in a submissive stance and slink away!

In our Alpaca Barn shop, we have beautiful alpaca products for you to choose from.  We have exceptionally soft Alpaca bears, sweaters, shawls socks and gloves.  For the children and the young at heart we have alpaca finger puppets.

The garden is asleep now for the winter, but in Spring it will be blooming all over!

Feeding the alpacas must be the favourite pastime of all visitors.	The alpaca's gentle touch is usually a surprise to visitors.

Kids love to be with the alpacas, although some of them prefer to pose with the alpacas!	Overseas visitors are always welcome and they have a lot of fun with the alpacas.
